It is in our name for a reason. Siding, render and painted surfaces get cleaned with chemistry and low pressure, because high pressure on a wall is how you end up with a repair bill.
◆ What soft washing is
Chemistry,
not force.
Soft washing uses a cleaning solution and a low-pressure rinse to kill and remove the algae, mildew and organic growth that discolours a house. The pressure never gets high enough to drive water behind the cladding, lift paint, or carve lines into render.
High pressure on siding does two things badly. It forces water into places that then stay wet, and it strips surface off whatever it touches. Both are avoidable, and neither shows up until later.

The growth is killed rather than just knocked off, so it stays gone noticeably longer.
No water behind the cladding
The single most expensive mistake in this trade, and the reason we do not use a wand on walls.

Landscaping protected and rinsed. Solution that is fine on render is not fine on your beds.
