That irrigation is what is wrecking your windows. Sprinkler heads throwing onto the lower panes leave mineral deposit every cycle, and it accumulates far faster than weather alone ever would.

Because these houses are built around their views, the result is unusually visible. A wall of glass with a cloudy band across the bottom metre is the single most common thing we are called out for here.
