◆ What is included

Every pane,
not just the easy ones.

A window cleaning quote should not need a decoder ring. When we price a house, the number covers the whole window, meaning the glass on both sides, the screen in front of it and the track it sits in. Those are not three separate visits and they are not three separate line items designed to surprise you.

Hill Country water is hard. Sprinkler overspray and hose water leave calcium and lime bonded onto the pane, and that is not something a squeegee lifts. It has to be dissolved off the glass before the actual cleaning starts, or it just gets pushed around and dries straight back down.

01

Interior and exterior

Both sides of every pane, sills wiped down, and your floors and furniture covered before anything gets wet.

02

Screens

Pulled, washed, dried and returned to the opening they came out of. Bent frames get straightened where they can be.

03

Tracks and sills

Vacuumed and wiped so the window closes the way it should and the grit stops grinding away at the seal.

04

Hard water removal

Mineral spotting and sprinkler etch taken off the glass properly. Severe long standing cases are quoted after we see them.

◆ Common questions

Window cleaning
questions.

How much does window cleaning cost in Boerne?+
Ten dollars per window for inside and out, three dollars per screen and four dollars per track, plus Texas sales tax of 8.25 percent. A typical Hill Country home lands between two hundred and five hundred dollars depending on the count and the height. Estimates are free and we can usually price from an address.
Do you clean the inside of the windows too?+
Yes, and it is included in the per window price rather than billed as a second service. We put down protection before we start and we take our shoes off or wear covers inside the house.
What is that white spotting that will not come off?+
That is hard water. Sprinkler overspray and hose water leave calcium and lime bonded to the glass, and once it etches in, a squeegee will not touch it. We dissolve it off the pane as part of the clean. Severe long standing etch is quoted separately after we look at it.
How often should I have it done?+
Twice a year suits most homes out here, usually spring and fall. Houses near a caliche road, under live oaks, or running sprinklers onto the glass do better on a quarterly rhythm.
What happens if it rains right after?+
We watch the forecast before we schedule, and if rain is coming we will move you rather than take your money for work the weather is about to undo. Rain on clean glass is mostly harmless anyway. What ruins windows is dirt already on the pane getting wet.
Do I need to be home?+
No. If we can reach the exterior we can do the outside while you are out. Interior work needs someone to let us in, but it does not need you standing over us.
